New Posting Requirement for NYC Restaurants

Food service establishments in NYC that accept pickup or delivery orders on their own websites must now add a link to the New York City Health Department's restaurant grading website, ABCEats. Third-party delivery services with websites or mobile apps that allow food ordering for same-day delivery or same-day pickup must also add a link to the same grading website. All New York City food service establishments should be receiving information from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) on the new law and how best to comply.  Failure to comply may result in a $100 fine.

If you have questions you can reach out to our Vice President of Public Affairs Kevin Dugan at [email protected] or contact the DOHMH directly at [email protected] or 212-676-1600.
